Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to the CampuWise mobile application and related services operated by Ahmet Furkan Sayan (the "Service Provider").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, downloading, or using CampuWise, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue using the application.
2. License & Permitted Use
The Service Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Application on compatible mobile devices for personal, non-commercial campus life activities.
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, extract the source code, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works based on the Application or any portion thereof without express written authorization.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All trademarks, service marks, logos, brand assets, user interfaces, database rights, software code, and visual identities associated with CampuWise are the exclusive intellectual property of Ahmet Furkan Sayan. Nothing in these Terms transfers or licenses any rights to such assets.
4. Acceptable Use & Student Club Guidelines
When creating events, publishing club announcements, or participating in meal voting, users and authorized club leads agree not to submit or broadcast content that:
- Infringes upon third-party intellectual property or copyright laws
- Contains abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, or unlawful statements
- Distributes deceptive event information, spam, or unauthorized solicitations
- Manipulates meal voting or registration capacity tools through automated scripts
The Service Provider reserves the right to review, moderate, or remove content and suspend privileges for accounts violating these guidelines.
5. Network Connectivity & QR Attendance Requirements
Certain functions of the Application require an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data). Specifically:
QR Attendance Connectivity Requirement
Organizer QR attendance scanning requires an active internet connection to authenticate tickets in real-time. Offline QR verification is not supported.
Users are responsible for their device battery status and network provider data usage charges.
6. Campus Information & Third-Party Services
CampuWise aggregates academic calendar dates, meal menus, and static shuttle timetables based on institutional data availability. Shuttle schedules reflect static timetable listings and do not provide real-time GPS vehicle tracking.
Third-party developer platforms integrated for delivery include Google Play Services and Expo.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from third-party schedule updates, campus cafeteria alterations, or temporary connectivity outages.
8. Governing Law & Inquiries
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory statutory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
